Descripción: La exposición Miniaturas y santos: selección de obras de la Colección Teodoro Vidal presentó una muestra de obras —algunas inéditas—  pertenecientes a dos temáticas artísticas que florecieron en Puerto Rico durante los siglos 18 y 19: el arte del retrato en pequeño formato y la talla de imágenes de culto en madera. La muestra también reconoció la gestión de Teodoro Vidal, quien durante más de cinco décadas se dedicó a buscar y rescatar todo tipo de artefactos culturales para que las futuras generaciones pudieran tener acceso al legado histórico, artístico y cultural de Puerto Rico.

Description: The exhibition Miniatures and Saints: A Selection of Works From the Teodoro Vidal Collection featured a sample of works —some of them never seen before— focused on two artistic themes that flourished in Puerto Rico during the 18th and 19th centuries: small-scale portraits and wood carvings of religious figures. It also recognized the efforts of Teodoro Vidal, who dedicated more than five decades to the search and recovery of all kinds of cultural artifacts so that future generations would have access to Puerto Rico’s historical, artistic and cultural legacy.
